Service is 2/3 star at best. Food is not labelled in the buffet. Chef used the meat spoon to spoon meat and vegetarian option. Cannot get a sun lounger at all as very few and always reserved. Sun beds on the beach are ripped and worn. Bathroom not cleaned properly for 6 days. Dirty cups and bowels left in the room on the table. Asked for masala tea with no sugar added but always brought with added sugar. Spoke to the manager who said he would feedback but the service is appalling. We are in a suite with access to the lounge but an utter waste of money. Cannot believe this hotel chain in UAE would have poor service and maintenance. Stay elsewhere!

I felt like I had won the lottery when a flight delay gave me the opportunity to stay at this amazing hotel. I have had the pleasure of staying at their Toronto location before, but the grandeur that awaited me in Abu Dhabi blew my mind. The service was exceptional, the breakfast buffet exquisite and the cappuccino I had was one of the best that I have ever had! It was an unforgettable experience, to say the least! Highly recommended!

The buffet, it has to be said was excelent. A very good choice of main dishes and desserts. However the wine list is extremely over priced for the selection on offer. Wine waiters should be better trained for the service this hotel is aiming for.

10/10 in every way. Gorgeoys rooms. Exceptional service. Amazing food options. Breathtaking view of the sunset! We can't thank the hotel management and staff enough for making our stay so relaxing with their attentive care and kindness!

Stayed here for our honeymoon and did not regret it one bit! We paid for the packages that gives you access to the horizon lounge and that is one of the parts that made our stay amazing. Priya served us and was very polite and nice and went the extra mile in serving us. The chef spoke to our wife and found out it was our honeymoon and went above and beyond having the servers bring over champagne. Along with the hotel staff preparing our room to make It romantic for our honeymoon we cannot say enough good things about the staff. The hotel was beyond beautiful and worth every dollar but what made our experience special was the staff.

Muito obrigado pelo excelente serviço que me prestou durante a minha estadia de 10 dias. Os gerentes e todos os funcionários de todos os departamentos do hotel com quem tive a oportunidade de conversar foram muito simpáticos e fizeram um excelente trabalho, tornando a minha estadia agradável e agradável.Minhas recomendações: - Solicite aos hóspedes que viajam a negócios e a trabalhar no hotel para agendar com antecedência um horário definido para a arrumação da casa, de forma que não haja perturbação durante ligações de trabalho ou skype / zoom.- Coloquei algo em cima do cofre e esqueci e com o tempo escorregou e caiu atrás do cofre. Pensei que o tivesse perdido e nunca pensei em procurar atrás do cofre ... mas graças a Deus o perdi e encontrei. Tenho certeza que isso pode acontecer com outra pessoa no futuro ... se possível, fechar o espaço entre a parte de trás do cofre e a parte de trás da gaveta seria uma boa ideia.Diferente daquela estadia incrível !!Obrigado!Adão

Our staycation in Shangri la in Abu Dhabi was awesome 👌...nice Room service, neat and tidy room, very cooperative staffs especially in restaurant, boat service was a good exp for us and most gud thing is it is free of cost. A big hatsoff to the staff for maintaining this whole area of Shangri La.They areFood was simply awesome, no words to explain. It was our 1st experience in Shangri La and will surely come again....hopefully very soon😍..It was our wedding anniversary and we celebrated in Shangri la and it will be our unforgettable moments here.

Thank you very much for the great service you provided me during my 10 day stay. Managers and all employees from all the hotel's departments I had the chance to talk to were very nice and did great job making my stay nice and enjoyable. My recommendations: - Ask guests who are visiting for business and working from the hotel to schedule in advance a set time for house keeping, that way there is no disturbance during work phone or skype/zoom calls. - I put something on top of the safe and forgot about it and with time it slid and fell behind the safe. I thought I lost it and I never thought to look behind the safe for it...but thank God I did and found it. I am sure this may happened to someone else in the future...may be if possible to close the gap space between the back of the safe and the back of the drawer would be a good idea. Other than that Awesome stay!! Thank you! Adam

Loved the view from the room. Very spacious suite. The lobby bar has a great singer playing Tuesdays and Thursdays. Chill music but the singer is talented. The staff are efficient and friendly!

Um hotel encantador com um serviço excelente que começa no momento do check-in. A equipa da recepção da recepção é muito profissional e acolhedora.Meu quarto tinha uma vista incrível da bela mesquita à distância, as instalações eram ótimas - embora o sistema de TV do quarto parecesse um pouco desatualizado e defasado ao alternar entre os canais (lo Def).O café da manhã foi adorável, com uma vasta seleção mesmo durante esses tempos de Covid19.

A lovely hotel with excellent service that begins the moment you check-in. The front desk reception team very professional and welcoming.My room had an amazing view of the beautiful mosque in the distance, the facilities were great - although the in room TV system felt a bit dated and lagged a lot when switching between (lo Def) channels.The breakfast was lovely, with a wide selection even during these times of Covid19.

My wife and I, decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at shangrila. The staff had taken good care of us during our 2 days stay there. The property is well maintained. We had used the chi spa too. The treatments were very relaxing. Overall we had a lovely stay.

The Hotel Staff were very friendly and professional. We only did the daytour. We came at around 12nn and stayed until 630pm. The menu is quite expensive. The food portion was good enough for sharing. The food was not the best but it was good. The pool was amazing. The only issue is the construction on the opposite side with the Grand Mosque view. Overall I’d still rate it 4/5 ⭐️ because we really enjoyed the hotel. Will definitely come back. 👏🏼

The service from the employees was beyond exceptional. Every encounter was professional, courteous, and helpful. Breakfast was very delicious, although there were less options than I was expecting. Regardless, everything I ate was very good and the service was excellent. Room was very clean, balcony was lovely. Beach is clean with a plentiful amount of sun loungers and umbrellas. Did not visit the pool but it looked nice. The view is obstructed by construction now so you can no longer see the sheik Zayed mosque. My only real issue was the room was very very cold in the evening with seemingly no way to heat it, even after calling maintenance. Overall a nice stay.

Service Quality was consistent throughout human capital and my family and i rate it as excellent. The quality of the rooms and the food were really good. We were rested and had a relaxed time for the duration of our stay as we had nothing to complain about or regret. Best wishes to the entire team!

My wife and I enjoyed the grandeur and ambience of the hotel and grounds, and were comforted by the standard of cleanliness in these troublesome times. The cuisine and extensive range dishes were expertly prepared and served, making dining an experience in itself. However, the most impressive aspect of our stay was the genuine warmth and professionalism of the staff. Everyone was so very kind and welcoming to us with a sincerity we have rarely experienced in many of the finest hotels in the UAE. You have every right to be proud of your team and we would be grateful if you would please pass on our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making our stay such a memorable experience…. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Lo mejor de lo mejor en Abu Dhabi. Excelente nivel de atención del personal. Excelente desayuno y magníficas sus cenas. Comida de sabores y texturas excelentes como asimismo su variedad (pues tiene comidas según la procedencia de sus huéspedes). Decoración hermosa y habitaciones amplias, con excelente vistas. TOTALMENTE RECOMENDABLE.
